Nick Cesario - WHO AM I?

 Hi, I'm Nicholas Cesario, but everyone calls me Nick. I'm from Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, right near Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, which I'm sure most of you know. I mostly enjoy the outdoors: fishing, camping, hunting, hiking, trail running, and biking, but when I'm not outside, I love watching show series like Severance on Apple TV or reading self-improvement books. The most recent book I just finished was Don't Believe Everything You Think by Joseph Nguyen. If you have severe anxiety or you just tend to overthink a lot, I would suggest you read it. One Interesting thing about me is I'm highly allergic to bees. I found out that I was allergic only after I had gotten stung in the face and had to go to the hospital. Lastly, I'd like to share my favorite food, Angelo's Sweet Sauce Pizza, THE BEST!!!

Trey Geyer

My name is Trey Geyer, and I am from Dornsife, PA. Right now, I'm living on campus at Bloomsburg. When I think about who I am it is not just one thing. It is things that I have experienced, the people I have been around and the places I have been. I don't realize at the time, but each stage has taught me significant lessons that I still carry with me today.

Growing up I always wanted to be outside. I always wanted to be with my friends playing around outside. Baseball was a huge part of my life and taught me more than I have expected. Things like discipline, teamwork, and dealing with losing.

My friends, family and the community I was around helped play a role on how I handle challenges. They were the people who pushed me and who had my back when I needed them. Thanks to them I have learned to stay confident and keep my head up when things weren't going my way.

Now I try to spend my time with doing things I enjoy, like golf. It helps keep me focused on something I like doing in my free time. When I am not golfing, I usually listen to music, playing games or hanging out with my friends. This year I have also set some personal goals like graduating college. After I graduate, I want to be a financial manager. It is something I have been interested in for a while. Thinking about the future has always kept me motivated and focused on things.

When I look at everything my interests, people who have helped shaped me, and goals I have been working toward it all fits together to show who I am. I still have a lot to learn. I can't to see what is next in life, and I am thankful for all the things that have brought me to where I am today.

Joshua Derr

 Hello, my name is Josh Derr. I am a freshman here at Bloomsburg University, studying finance. Some things about me are that I'm from Allentown, PA. I grew up a big sports fan and played baseball my whole life. I am a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles, and Oklahoma City Thunder and I frequently go to games in Baltimore with my family. I am also a really big music fan and I enjoy collecting records. My favorite place to travel to is Ocean City, MD, as me and my family go every summer. 

Louis Venturi

 My name is Louis Venturi and I'm a freshman majoring in Sales and Marketing. I'm Ecuadorian from my mother's side and Italian on my father's side. I've been to both countries and experienced there cultures. Overall I love Italian food especially my dad's cooking since he's a chef. I'm fluent in Spanish and I can pick up some Italian since I already know spanish. Knowing another language is very useful especially for traveling. One of my hobbies is traveling to see other countries around the world. I've been to south of Italy in the Calabria region where my Grandfather's town  in Mandatoriccio. Whenever we go to Italy we stay at our beach house and its always a blast because the beach is so close. Probably my favorite food I had in Italy is the pizza and pasta. I've also traveled to Ecuador where I visited my Mom's family. My mom was born in Loja which is south of Ecuador. I have also visited Malacatos, Guayaquil, Cuenca, and the capitol Quito. My favorite food that I had from Ecuador is the Hornado which is roasted pork with some crisp to it. Also the Ceviche which is a seafood dish with shrimp and fresh diced tomatoes and onions with lemon. 

Another cool thing about me is that I like to hunt. I'm big in hunting Elk, Whitetail Deer, Rabits, and Game birds. Every year for the past 6 years I've traveled to Colorado to go Elk Hunting. When we go to Colorado we rent out a house near a small town called Fort Garland. My brother and I always compete with each other for the best trophy buck and whoever gets the biggest gets to hold up to a golden chain with a deer antlers on it. We always have hunting dogs, 2 beagles and 1 German Short Haired Point. The GSP hunts birds and her name is Stella and shes 1 year old. The other 2 beagles hunt Rabits and there names are Max and Luna. Probably my favorite time to hunt is in the Winter when there's snow out cuz everything is silent and very easy to spot the animals.

When I was in high school I played basketball and track for Southern Columbia which is in Catawissa 20 minutes away from BU. I played the point guard for basketball and for track I ran the 1mile, 2 mile, and the 4x800. I usually play in basketball tournaments up at a Christian school in Bloomsburg. I like to play basketball with my friends at the park or at different recs and play in different leagues there. My insipiration that got me to play basketball and love the game is Lebron James. I would always watch him growing up. My favorite NBA team is the Lakers and my favorite Laker player of all time is Kobe Bryant. My favorite 3 point celebration is Ice In My Veins by Diangelo Russel. 

Who am I blog- Nate Cohen

                         Hi, My name is Nate Cohen and I am a freshman here at Bloomsburg. My favorite hobbies include pickleball, basketball, and golf. I grew up in Abington, PA and have a friend group of 12 guys. I am 18 years old and my birthday is March 7.

                        One of the three things you should know about me is that I won a police award last October. I won a volunteer bravery award when I worked at a pool and there was a firearm incident. Myself and my fellow coworkers had a police dinner where we all received the award.

Another thing you should know about me was that I was on the varsity swim team all four years of high school. I swam the 500 and the 200 freestyle and was one of the top in my age group. I also coached a summer swim team with my 2 best friends.

Lastly, I played rec basketball all through highschool and had a team with all my friends. Basketball was another fun way to spend time with friends and my family would always come out to watch me.

 My name is Isaiah Boone and I am a freshman here at Bloomsburg University.  I am currently studying business here and I am also apart of the Bloomsburg men's soccer team.  I have been playing soccer since I was in preschool and all throughout my life I have been playing all different sports. Some of the things I like to do are hanging out with friends, playing sports other than soccer in my free time, listening to music and video games.  I also like spending time with my family and traveling to Caribbean islands.  

Reiley Lineman - Who am I?

   

 My name is Reiley Jeanne Lineman, my first name comes from my Mom's maiden name and my middle name was my Great Grandmother's. In high school I was a theatre kid and played in almost every musical they showcased. When I am older I plan on traveling the world with my dog and then maybe even start a family. 

    Something most people wouldn't guess about me is that my dream is to become an Officer in the Unites States Marines after I attend the Naval Academy. My dad is a Marine and was in from 2000 to 2004, he fought during War on Iraq and throughout Operation Iraqi Freedom. He's fueled this dream of mine for my entire life and it will continue even after I've achieved it.

Who Am I Blog: Madeline Ligas

 My name is Madeline Ligas, I get my first name from my great grandmother and my last name from my dad's side. I was heavily involved in my high school, people knew my name when I have never seen them before. I was the president of the ASL club, Stage Crew, and Veg club (vegan cooking). I was also an officer in our Performing Arts Club, PAC. As you can tell I was heavily involved in theatre in high school holding many leadership roles. From lighting to building, to being the stage manager I knew that auditorium like the back of my hand. My favorite show we have ever put on was Spongebob the Musical, which surprised everyone with how good it was.

The summer going into my senior year my school offered a trip where you would go to Europe and see Spain, Portugal, and part of France. I attended that trip and it was my first time being abroad and without my family for an extended time, so it was a big adjustment. But I had such a blast and saw so many new and exciting things, especially finding my love for patatas bravas and tapas. Following that trip my family and I went to Spain, Poland, and France. My dad had a whole bunch of family in Poland so it was nice visiting them and getting to see the cities from their perspective and less of touristy areas.

Growing up I always had pets in the house from fish, to newts, to guinea pigs, and many more. I have helped take care of a variety of pets. The first pet I remember is a giant fish tank with 50 fish in it. From puffer fish, to snails, to a mini starfish, there was a wide variety. One day we bought a fish from Petco and it had a virus even after acclimating it, the whole tank ended up catching it. My childhood dog and cat, Malu and Conner, were the best of buddies. During their lifetime we had gerbils, hamsters, and more fish. Once we moved to PA my grandma moved with us, so she moved in her dog, Holly, and cat, Shadow. After Malu unfortunately passed a few months later we adopted DJ and two guinea pigs named Smores and Fred. Just once you think we had enough animals under our roof we added two hamsters to the mix. They were happy but when we got them they were already old so they died peacefully. Our neighbor, whom we were close with, was retiring and was moving to Florida, so he gave us his newt. Shortly after Conner and DJ died peacefully, and after time has past we adopted Noodle, a pug, and Jack, a tabby cat from a shelter. Currently we have 7 pets in our house that we all pitch in to take care of.

My name is Ayden Liebersohn. I am a junior chemistry major here at Bloomsburg University. Following this year I intend to attend Temple University to earn my PharmD. One thing that a lot of people don't know about me is that I have 11 siblings. Through a long family history I have ended up with 2 full siblings, 4 step siblings, and 4 adopted siblings. I think my sister has had the largest influence on my life, being a chemistry major herself. I suppose another thing about me, that will shock you all, is that I am actually a ginger. I know, it is surprising, but this actually affects my daily life. I burn easily and I have no soul. I have to navigate through the shadows, avoiding sunlight. I am practically a vampire. On a serious note, I have an astigmatism, and had to wear an eyepatch when I was younger to improve my vision. If it did not improve enough, I would have had to Lasik eye surgery. Thankfully it did, so I was safe for the time being. Once my prescription flatlines I intend to get the surgery anyways. 

    Hello, my name is Rudy Alonzo, and I am a nursing major here at Bloomsburg University. I've lived most of my life in two different states, New York and later Pennsylvania. One of my favorite things to do is try new experiences; I find adventure to be a driving force in my life. One of my major hobbies is traveling, sometimes, that can mean traveling to a new country, or sometimes it means going a few minutes away from home. One of my favorite trips I took was in May of this year to Mexico. This trip was a critical part of my development into adulthood because it was my first time leaving the country without my parents.

Hi! My name is Brooke Setzer and I'm a freshman majoring in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology! I'm from Bucks County, Pa, which is about a half hour away from Philadelphia. I am a member of the honors college and will be playing club softball for the school! I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and will continue to during college. I'm the oldest and have a younger brother and sister. I enjoy hanging out with friends, exercising, going on walks, and knitting hats during the winter! Over the summer, I attended many graduation parties, went down the shore, and did lots of preparation for Bloomsburg. My favorite season is fall, not just because my birthday falls during that time, but also that I'm super excited to walk around campus and see the leaves change colors.  Some fun facts about me are that I used to dance for 11 years, played in the orchestra as a violinist, and have two different colored eyes!

 My name is Myla Jackson I'm 18 years old, a Speech Pathology major, and from Freeland, PA.

I have a strong personality once you get to know me. Im kind, funny, and loving.

Here are some fun facts about me. 

I am a licensed cosmetologist at only 18 years old. I attended a career center in high school, and worked very hard to acquire my license! The road was long, scary, and extremely difficult but in the end rewarding. 

Another fun fact is that I am left handed. I'm one out of two left handed people in my family. It's been a fun thing to be teased about growing up. 

My last fun fact is that I am a good cook. I like to express my love for others through my cooking. 

About me- Nolan

 Hi my name is Nolan Rall, I grew up in Williamsport PA and have lived there my whole life. This is just a little summary of what I do and who I am. My most surprising feature is the fact that I have heterochromia, which is an eye condition that makes my eyes have to different colors. One eye is all greenish blue and the other has both blue and brown in it. But if you were to just make eye contact from a far you wouldn't realize this trait about me. Another fun fact about me is that I've played baseball my entire life from t-ball till highschool. My love for baseball started when me and my dad went to an orioles game when I was just 5 years old. From the time I left the game I knew that id want to play baseball for as long as I could. Although I am not playing in college my love for the game is still within me. The last interesting thing about me ill share with you all is my love for math and numbers. This also started at a young age, when my parents both thought that I was "special" because of my love for sorting things and counting numbers. whenever I had a pack of skittles or any large variety of item I would sit down and spread them all into their own colored piles. Although the sorting and organizing have gone down into less frequency I still love math and using numbers. That's all I share if you have anything in interest or common about what I've shared and would like to talk more on the topics just come up to me in class.

 Hi Everyone!! My name is Devin Perez. I am currently a Freshmen here at Bloomsburg University where I'm pursuing a Respiratory Care Major 🫁. A lot of people asked what my major was about which is shocking that it really isn't known what my major is about and not really mentioned much. It is a major where it trains me to be a healthcare professional to help people breathe so I work with the lungs essentially. After I complete college and I graduate I will pursue a career in Respiratory whether it is a sleep technologist or a respiratory therapist.

I  was Born and Raised in  Hazleton, Pennsylvania. My ethic Backgrounds consists of Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. Many of my ancestors are taino, which Is the indigenous People of the Caribbeans before European settlers came in 1492. I know this because I Bought a 23 and Me ancestry test because I was curious about my Background, I wanted to know more about my family tree outside of what my parents taught and told me about. I am also 5% French!! bonjour everyone hehehehe. some People Think I am Indian but I really don't have Indian features so it must be because I'm brown.

Hobbies and Interest. 

My hobbies consist of watching Anime, Playing video games, enjoying nature and Playing basketball. My favorite Anime has to be Bleach and Welcome to the N.H.K. they are really good shows and I watched them several times. My favorite video games are Hitman and Far cry. I actually finished almost all the far cry games which there are six of them but, I am missing four sequels so I basically finished it all technically. i'm yet to finish Hitman yet but I will eventually. I like playing Overwatch and I'm really decent at it for the most part. (broke my TV because of it)

Kamdon Eicher

 Hello!  My name is Kamdon Eicher, and I am from a town about 50 minutes west of here called Mifflinburg.  I am a freshman here at Bloomsburg majoring in Finance with the hope of becoming a financial advisor.  

    I am a very active person that loves to do just about anything sports related.  I love to watch any types of sports as well, especially football and golf.  In high school I played golf where my team and I were quite accomplished.  We went undefeated our last 2 high school seasons, I won an individual district championship in 2023, and in 2024 we won the team championship.

Hello! My name is Leah Hoffman. I am a freshman and my major is Speech Pathology. I am involved in the color guard here at Bloomsburg and am in the honors college. 

I am from Hatboro Pennsylvania, which is in Montgomery County about 25 minutes outside of Philadelphia. My favorite things to do are paint, craft, do puzzles, hang with friends, and listen to music (specifically one direction).

 

More than what eyes see

 My name is Khush Prajapati, and I was born in Lakewood New jersey in 2007. Even though I was born in new jersey I grew up in India until the age of 14. Major reason being my parents decided to move back to India when I was 8 months old. Education system in India is much different than United states. I prefer to study in USA reason being there is no pressure on students. I can speak 3 languages fluently. 

I was placed 8th at national high school powerlifting competition in New Orleans, Luisiana. It was a great experience as it was my first time competing at national level.

Played varsity soccer for 2 years and got a division 2 offer from Lackawanna University in Scranton. I have been playing soccer since I was 12 years old. But when I moved to united states, I did not have transportation available. So, I had to wait until I turned 16 to pursue my career back in soccer.

 My name is tommy I'm from Jefferson Nj I was born in 2008

I am very into fishing I've traveled all over the country chasing fish. I drove out west to Montana and Wyoming to trout. I've gone to Canada twice to catch musky, and I go to Islamorada Florida almost every winter to fish saltwater.

This one the biggest trout I caught out west it is a cutthroat.

Another think I enjoy doing is riding dirtbike I currently have a husky tc250 that is very fast. I've gone to a motorcross track a couple times and I have a lot of local riding trails in NJ where I ride with my friends.

My last interest or hobby is hiking. Me and my friends have done every big hike in NJ and have started traveling to PA and NY. This summer Me and three friends summated and camped on mount Marcey in the Adirondacks which is the largest mountain there.
