Hi, this is Allyson
I grew up in a small town in New York called Little Geneses. There isn't a lot of things to do in that town, the only thing there is a post office and two churches. But the next town over, I went to school and spend most times hangout with my friends. When I usually tell people what state I am from, they always say New York city, but I live over five hours away from the city.
(This is where I am from called Allegany County)
I did dance for 12 years; I have done a lot of different dance classes. My top three dances would be hip hop would be my three on the list because overtime it just boring to me, but I did love everyone in the class. My second one would be modern because it makes you feel free and I did a project on it in one of my classes last year. My first overall would be point/ballet, for the longest time I was struggling to get everything perfect but late on. I had a different teacher that taught be that it is fine not be perfect. I started point when I was 13 and that ruined my feet over the years. I do miss dance, while being at college.
Another thing is that I love basketball, growing up watching it with my dad. I have watch college and professional basketball. When I was growing up in the city that I live near has a college called St Bonaventure University (It is a D1 college), I always go watch the men basketball team. Little later in my life, I started to be into more women basketball and my first ever women basketball game was UConn (I have been to two games).
Go girl, I really felt in love 😍 reading your story, felt like a tv show. Having fun in life is all of us deserves. Don't worry saying you miss dancing because I know both of us will enjoy the new family we are in now. You can join women basketball 🏀 club and I know you will do great. which you the best through your semester.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some images from your love of dance. Professor Julie Petry and the dancers of the minor put on a lovely dance concert every year. You should think about minoring in dance!
ReplyDeleteMy sister does pointe too!! Have you danced at the same studio throughout your whole dancing career?
