LIFE MIXED WITH BITTERNESS AND SWEETNESS

MY EXPERIENCE AND FONDNESS IN LIFE AS A TEENAGER

Hello everyone! Have you ever wondered how life can be from child to adult wood? Growing up as a child, my Aunties used to tell me to never wish becoming an adult, they said because life is no easy. it's full of challenges and circumstances. Stick with me while I am describing my bitterness and sweetness of my life. My name is Ndaganyo Daniela Mpakanira, a 17-years-old girl teenager who always dream how life will be after becoming an adult. Everyone has challenges, preferred aims, and personal traits in life. As a personal, I experienced a lot of challenges such as Language barrier, refugeeism, lack of access to education in my younger age, and learning to be adult before my mind could evaluate. i had to migrate from different countries to seek for protection and stable life. Currently lived in USA and many would like to know my journey from the land I used to call mine up to America.

2016-2026 war in Democratic Republic of Congo

I am Congolese who migrated from Democratic Republic of Congo to Uganda with my family, escaping the war to save our live. We entered Uganda as refugees expecting life will be easy than, but it wasn't as we thought. We had to work hard to get food in a country with a language barrier because in previous country they speak French, Lingala, and Swahili while in Uganda is Luganda and English, we had no family or friend. For sometimes we spent days without eating anything apart from drinking only water.  My parents had to look for a job so that we don't die with hunger and send us to school. They decided to join community groups for refugees which helped them to learn the language and get some jobs. when they had enough in their saving, they had to send my young siblings to school, for me I had to stay home to take of the house and watch over my young siblings who were underage of going to school at that time. I homeschooled for three years and went back to school when I was twelve years old. While in school, I had a problem understanding my teachers because of language barrier and the class I skipped because of my age. with time I was able to adapt the contents and learned the language.

my life as a refugee clear explain struggles I endured

As time passes Lord saw our struggles and cries by the grace of Him, UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) saw our case and sent us to my new home now, The United States of America (USA). when we reached to the United States life became easier, we met new people and communities which treated us as family in school, and neighborhood. I made new friends and life became easier and enjoyable. Although at first I had some minor struggles like language barrier because here in America they have strong accent than in Africa, but with time I was able to understand people and my teachers as well.

    MY DREAM PLACES TO TRAVEL

That's the biggest part of my life that I can be able to share with people to know me more. I can't share all because in life everyone has secrets and part side of life that can't be shared to anyone. Can't wait to see your comments and your life story experience too because your story can also change or shape someone's perspective of life. Every day we make new story to tell and every second shaped who we are and what we may determine about our future from child wood to adult wood. As a dream girl who always think which kind of life, I will deal with after becoming an adult, I always want to hear and read more stories of people and different perspectives. No one can surmount your life apart from you. Always stick on the creator and be a good director of your own story. Throughout my life experience I finally understand how my life will be when I become an adult, can't wait to be eighteen.
